Our Annual Cookware Trade-In Event Ends January 31, 2012!
Recycle binDonate your gently used kitchenwares by dropping it off at Kitchen Outfitters through January 31st, 2012. As a Thank you for your entire donation you will receive a coupon to have 3 Knives Sharpened FREE. Your pots, pans, bakeware, mixing bowls or kitchen utensils could be a new beginning for someone in need.

This Trade-In Event is to support Household Goods Recycling of Massachusetts, aka HGRM of Acton, a not-for-profit organization that distributes used household goods free of charge to people in need in over 40 local communities. Working together with HGRM we can make a difference! Call 978-263-1955 with questions.

Coupon valid until February 7th, 2012. Two day turn-around sharpening service. Limit one coupon per household. Please transport knives safely. No scissors, repairs or serrated knives with this offer. Knife Skills with Chef Rebecca Scheier
Be a cut above the rest and join us for a class in knife skills basics where we will learn about knife selection, care, sharpening and honing. Then we'll roll up our sleeves and practice mincing, slicing and dicing a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs. Knives will be available, however students are welcome to bring their own knives from home. Knives may also be purchased on the day of the class. Limit 12 per class.

Rebecca Scheier is the owner of Tie Your Apron Culinary Events (www.TieYourApron.com) offering cooking classes and parties at 10 Longmeadow Way, Acton. Rebecca is a graduate of The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts and a member of its alumni board of directors, has achieved the designation of CCP(Certified Culinary Professional) from the International Association of Culinary Professionals and is ServSafe certified. She has taught cooking to children and adults privately, at The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts and at Create-A-Cook in Newton, Massachusetts.
